Begin your journey in Barcelona, where Gaudí’s extraordinary architecture, Mediterranean atmosphere and lively boulevards introduce you to the spirit of Spain. Continue by high-speed train to Madrid, Spain’s elegant capital, before flying to Lisbon for the final chapter of your journey in Portugal.

This carefully designed 8-day itinerary includes 7 nights in centrally located 4-star hotels with daily breakfast, round-trip airfare, airport and railway station transfers, high-speed rail from Barcelona to Madrid, a flight from Madrid to Lisbon, city sightseeing and the assistance of a Persian-speaking tour leader.

Itinerary

Arrive at Barcelona Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a panoramic introduction to the city before hotel check-in and time to rest. In the evening, enjoy a walk through central Barcelona with your tour leader. 

Overnight: Barcelona

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Barcelona. See the exterior of Sagrada Família and Park Güell, along with Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, Plaça de Catalunya, La Rambla and the Christopher Columbus Monument.  

Overnight: Barcelona

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a free day to explore Barcelona at your own pace. Spend time shopping, visit additional attractions, enjoy the Mediterranean waterfront or participate in optional activities.  

Overnight: Barcelona

After breakfast, transfer to Barcelona Sants railway station and depart for Madrid by high-speed train at approximately 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located hotel and enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Gran Vía, Plaza de España, the Royal Palace area and Plaza de Cibeles.  

Overnight: Madrid

Enjoy breakfast and a free day for shopping and independent exploration of Madrid. Guests may also join an optional excursion to the historic city of Toledo.  

Overnight: Madrid

After breakfast, transfer to Madrid Airport and take a direct flight to Lisbon at approximately 9:00 AM, arriving at approximately 11:00 AM. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy a Lisbon sightseeing tour featuring Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoveries, Rossio Square, Praça do Comércio and the historic Alfama district.  

Overnight: Lisbon

Enjoy breakfast followed by a free day in Lisbon for shopping and independent exploration. An optional excursion is available to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca before returning to Lisbon.  

Overnight: Lisbon

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Lisbon Airport.
