Itinerary

Welcome to Jamaica! Your journey begins in Kingston, the island’s vibrant capital and cultural heartbeat. There are no planned activities today, so you can arrive at any time and settle into your hotel. If you wish, you can arrange an airport transfer from Norman Manley International Airport (KIN), approximately a 40-minute drive. Your tour leader will meet you tomorrow morning for a welcome briefing.
Today we head north into the misty Blue Mountains, famous for producing world-renowned Blue Mountain coffee. We’ll visit a local coffee plantation to learn about how coffee is grown, harvested, and brewed. Enjoy a guided walk through the lush coffee fields before tasting a freshly brewed cup of this iconic coffee.
Afterward, we return to Kingston to explore the Bob Marley Museum, located in the reggae legend’s former home. Immerse yourself in his music, life, and legacy. The museum closes around 4pm, leaving the rest of the afternoon free to explore Kingston further. Optional experiences include visiting Trench Town, Tuff Gong Studios, the National Gallery of Jamaica, or enjoying ice cream at the historic Devon House.
We begin with a leisurely drive to Charlestown, home of Jamaica’s Maroon community. Here, we learn about the Maroons’ history, culture, and independence from colonial rule, and enjoy a traditional Maroon lunch.
Later, we continue to Port Antonio. On the way, you can choose to take a 90-minute bamboo raft ride down the Rio Grande, guided by experienced local captains. For those preferring a quieter journey, we continue directly to the hotel to relax.
Start your day with a visit to the breathtaking Blue Lagoon, where you can swim or simply enjoy the stunning scenery. Next, we head to Frenchman’s Cove, a picturesque white-sand beach sheltered by lush greenery. Lunch is available on-site, with classic Jamaican options such as jerk chicken or pork and a cold Red Stripe beer. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beach before returning to your hotel.
Spend the morning at leisure in Port Antonio—attending a local church service is an option for those interested. Midday, we journey to Ocho Rios, arriving around 2pm. This afternoon, you can choose to climb the famous Dunn’s River Falls, explore the town, or relax at the hotel.
After breakfast, we drive to Montego Bay and then visit the historic Rose Hall Great House for a guided tour of this famous Georgian mansion. Learn about its fascinating history before continuing to Negril, a coastal town known for dramatic cliffs and long sandy beaches. We’ll finish the day at Rick’s Cafe to watch the sunset and cliff divers perform daring jumps into the sea.
Today is yours to enjoy Negril. Relax on the iconic Seven Mile Beach, swim, sunbathe, or sample local cuisine along the shoreline. For adventure seekers, optional activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, or a glass-bottom boat trip to explore the vibrant marine life.
We head inland to the Appleton Estate Rum Distillery, set amid Jamaica’s scenic countryside. Learn how sugarcane is transformed into the island’s famous rum, and enjoy a tasting session at the end. Afterwards, we continue to Treasure Beach, a laid-back fishing community known for its excellent seafood and peaceful beaches. The drive today takes around four hours.
Treasure Beach offers plenty to explore. Take a boat trip to Pelican Bar, a unique sandbank bar in the middle of the sea, or go on a Black River safari to spot crocodiles and native birds. For those who prefer land-based activities, try a Jamaican cooking class to learn the secrets of jerk seasoning, bammy, or fresh fish dishes.
Today marks the end of your Jamaican adventure. Transfer from Treasure Beach to Kingston Airport (approximately 3.5 hours).
