Our Story & Milestones

Our Story & Milestones

Rooted in Experience. Established in Canada. Connected to the World.

Alaedin Travel Canada's story is one of experience, entrepreneurship, international growth and a long-term commitment to the Canadian travel industry.

Built upon more than 25 years of tourism expertise, our Canadian company began with a team of four and has grown into a Toronto-based travel business with 15 team members, international tour operator relationships and an expanding portfolio of travel services.

We believe travel is more than booking flights, reserving hotels or organizing tours. Tourism connects people, cultures, destinations and business opportunities. It supports local economies, encourages international exchange and creates meaningful experiences for travellers around the world.

With this vision, Alaedin Travel Services Canada Inc. was incorporated on September 22, 2022, establishing a new chapter in the international development of the Alaedin Travel brand.

From the beginning, our ambition was to build more than a local travel agency. We set out to develop a professional Canadian travel company capable of serving individuals, families, businesses and international tourism partners across North America and beyond.

Our Roots: Tourism Experience Since 2000

The professional foundations of Alaedin Travel date back to 2000, when founder and Chairman AmirHassan Jafari began his career in the tourism industry.

His experience spans more than 25 years in tour operations, travel company management, tourism education, international itinerary development and travel across more than 60 countries.

Before establishing the Alaedin Travel brand, Jafari served for seven years as CEO of Marco Polo Tourism, gaining extensive experience in managing travel operations, developing tourism products and leading teams in a competitive industry.

In 2016, the Alaedin Travel brand was established in Tehran, bringing together years of professional knowledge, operational experience and a vision for expanding travel services.

The long-standing professional collaboration between AmirHassan Jafari and Atousa Goudarzian became an important foundation for the brand's development and subsequent expansion into Canada.

These experiences helped shape a business philosophy centred on practical destination knowledge, responsible planning, professional relationships and attention to travellers' needs.

We did not enter the Canadian market without experience. We brought decades of tourism knowledge into a new business environment, building a Canadian operation around local requirements and international opportunities.

September 2022: Establishing Alaedin Travel Canada

On September 22, 2022, Alaedin Travel Services Canada Inc. was incorporated with a long-term vision to expand international tourism activities and establish a sustainable business presence in Canada.

The decision to enter the Canadian market was based on our understanding of global tourism, the economic opportunities of North America and the potential to develop travel services across multiple markets.

Three strategic priorities shaped our initial vision.

International Tour Operations: Building a Canada-based tour operator capable of developing and coordinating domestic and international travel programmes, working with global tourism suppliers and serving travellers across different markets.

Corporate Travel Management: Developing business travel services for Canadian companies, including flight reservations, hotel bookings, airport transfers, executive travel, employee travel and corporate travel coordination.

Serving North America's Diverse Travel Markets: Responding to the travel needs of Iranian-Canadian and Iranian-American communities while building services for travellers, families and businesses of all nationalities.

Our ambition was never limited to a single community, destination or flight route.

Alaedin Travel Canada was established with the vision of becoming an internationally connected tour operator and a professional travel partner for the North American market.

Starting with Four People and a Global Vision

Alaedin Travel Canada's operations began with a team of four, initially focused on airline ticketing and flight reservations.

During this early stage, our priorities included building direct customer relationships, understanding the Canadian travel market, establishing supplier connections and developing the foundations of our travel services.

Flight booking was our starting point, but our long-term vision extended well beyond airline ticket sales.

Over time, our service portfolio expanded to include hotel reservations, travel insurance, all-inclusive vacation packages, visa application assistance, domestic Canada tours, international group tours, private and customized travel, and corporate travel management.

As the range of services and operational responsibilities increased, our team grew steadily.

By October 2026, Alaedin Travel Canada had expanded from four people to a team of 15 based in its Canadian office.

This growth reflects our continued investment in people, operational capacity, professional development and the organization of our travel services.

September 2023: Introducing Alaedin to Toronto's Business Community

One of our early milestones was the official business introduction event held on September 12, 2023.

The event brought together approximately 600 business owners and members of Toronto's business community, providing an opportunity to introduce Alaedin Travel Canada's activities, strategic direction and long-term ambitions.

For us, this gathering was more than a brand presentation. It was an important step in establishing professional relationships, introducing our capabilities and connecting with the business community in Toronto.

The event reflected our belief that long-term business growth depends on professional relationships, meaningful collaboration and active participation in the local economy.

2023–2024: Building Professional Foundations

Sustainable growth in Canada's travel industry requires appropriate regulatory registration, professional standards and reliable operational systems.

On November 10, 2023, Alaedin Travel Services Canada Inc. received its travel retailer registration with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).

TICO Registration Number: 50027201

The company subsequently obtained accreditation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

IATA Code: 67599943

These milestones supported the development of our Canadian operations within Ontario's travel industry regulatory framework and internationally recognized airline industry standards.

For Alaedin Travel Canada, professional credentials represent more than registration numbers. They are part of our commitment to accountability, transparency and conducting travel business in accordance with applicable requirements.

October 2024: Investing in Our Long-Term Future in Toronto

One of the most significant milestones in Alaedin Travel Canada's development came in October 2024, when the company relocated to its new office at World on Yonge in the Toronto area.

This move represented more than a change of address or an expansion into a larger office.

It was a strategic investment in establishing a professional, stable and long-term operational base for the company's future in Canada.

The commercial office property is owned through a holding company associated with Alaedin Travel Canada's owners. This ownership structure reflects a long-term approach to establishing business assets and infrastructure in Canada.

Our World on Yonge office was selected to provide a professional environment for team development, client meetings, business partnerships, travel operations and international collaboration.

From our early years, we chose to support our ambitions with a lasting physical business presence.

Our Toronto-area office is more than a workplace. It represents our investment in the future of Alaedin Travel Canada and our commitment to building a sustainable business in Canada.

Growing Our Services: Approximately 20,000 Travellers Served

Since the beginning of its operations, Alaedin Travel Canada has continued to expand its services, team and customer relationships.

Based on internal company estimates, Alaedin Travel Canada has served approximately 20,000 travellers cumulatively from the beginning of its operations through October 2026.

This figure represents an estimated cumulative total of travellers served over the company's operating history, not the number of travellers in a single year.

During this period, our activities expanded from airline ticketing to a broader portfolio of travel services, including domestic and international tours, hotel reservations, travel insurance, visa application assistance, private travel and corporate travel management.

Behind every booking is a traveller with a different purpose: reconnecting with family, exploring a new destination, attending a business meeting or planning a memorable holiday.

For us, growth in traveller volume reflects the development of our business. Maintaining clear communication, reliable coordination and attention to customer needs remains central to how we intend to sustain that growth.

Corporate Travel Management: Working with Businesses Across Multiple Industries

Corporate travel services have become an important part of Alaedin Travel Canada's business development.

The company has worked with dozens of businesses across scientific, pharmaceutical, food, oil and petrochemical industries, providing travel-related services for corporate and organizational requirements.

These services include business flight reservations, hotel bookings, airport transfers, executive travel, employee travel and coordination of business travel arrangements.

Working with organizations from different industries has strengthened our understanding of the varied requirements of corporate travel.

Business travel often requires careful scheduling, cost transparency, operational coordination and clear communication with company representatives.

The continued development of Corporate Travel Management is one of Alaedin Travel Canada's key priorities in the Canadian market.

Our long-term objective is to become a dependable travel partner for Canadian businesses seeking coordinated travel services for their teams and operations.

Expanding International Partnerships with European Tour Operators

International tourism partnerships are an important part of Alaedin Travel Canada's development strategy.

The company has entered into multiple agreements with international tour operators, including partners based in Spain and Germany.

These relationships support our efforts to expand professional networks, introduce Canadian destinations to international markets and develop inbound tourism opportunities.

Our goal is to build long-term working relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, destination specialists and tourism suppliers across different countries.

Through these partnerships, we aim to strengthen our ability to develop itineraries, coordinate group travel and provide operational travel services within Canada.

Participation in international tourism exhibitions and industry events is also part of this approach.

We aim to position Alaedin Travel Canada not only as a travel service provider, but as a reliable operational partner for international tour operators.

Inbound Tourism to Canada: Connecting International Visitors with Canadian Destinations

Canada offers exceptional opportunities for international tourism, from vibrant cities and cultural attractions to national parks, mountains, lakes and remarkable natural landscapes.

Developing inbound tourism to Canada is one of Alaedin Travel Canada's strategic priorities.

Our travel programmes include destinations such as Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Banff and the Canadian Rockies.

We focus on developing and coordinating group and customized itineraries that connect international visitors with Canadian destinations, accommodation providers, transportation companies and local tourism experiences.

Our objective is to expand cooperation with European and American tour operators and contribute to attracting more international visitors to Canada.

Inbound tourism can generate economic opportunities across accommodation, transportation, attractions, restaurants and other local businesses.

We want Alaedin Travel Canada's growth to contribute to the broader development of Canada's tourism industry and international visitor economy.

Our Leadership: Experience, Partnership and Long-Term Vision

Alaedin Travel Canada is led by two co-founders with extensive management experience in the tourism industry.

AmirHassan Jafari — Founder & Chairman

With more than 25 years of experience in tourism, AmirHassan Jafari leads the company's strategic direction, international market development, business relationships and long-term growth vision.

His background in tour operations, tourism management, education and international travel provides an important foundation for the company's business strategy.

Atousa Goudarzian — Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Atousa Goudarzian brings extensive tourism management experience to her role as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alaedin Travel Canada.

She leads the company's executive operations, team management, service development and day-to-day coordination.

Together, their leadership and the work of the company's 15-member Canadian team form the foundation of Alaedin Travel Canada's management and operational structure.

We believe that sustainable growth in a service business requires continued investment in people, professional development and a collaborative working culture.

Community Engagement and Recognition in Canada

Since its establishment, Alaedin Travel Canada has sought to develop meaningful relationships with the business, cultural and tourism communities in Canada.

Participation in business events, tourism exhibitions, community programmes and cultural activities has been part of this approach.

In September 2026, Laura Smith, Member of Provincial Parliament for Thornhill, visited Alaedin Travel Canada's office and presented a certificate recognizing the company's hard work, dedication and commitment to the local community.

The company has also engaged with Ontario public officials and business representatives, including Michael Parsa, as part of its efforts to strengthen professional and community relationships.

For us, these interactions reflect the importance of being an active and responsible member of the community in which we operate.

Our ambition is to grow Alaedin Travel Canada while contributing to business relationships, economic opportunities and constructive community engagement in Canada.
